2012: 

  • Promoting Vimukti, "The 31 Original friends"  help raise $ 9,000

  • First ever "Ek Shyam Vimukti ke Naam" event brings in $ 30,000.

  • Takoma kids toys sale gets covered in the Times of India.

2014: (Signing Articles Pic)

  • Edu-GIRLS is incorporated as a 5.01(c) non-profit.

2015: (Smart Class Pic)

  • VGS gets multiple grants: $39,000( Rotary), $10,000 (WEF) and $8,000 (MDRT).

  • Enrollment reaches 500.

  • First "Smart Class" set up at VGS.     

2016: (Cherry Blossom Walk Pic)

  • SRGVVK Accredited with 60 girls to grade 7 and gets a Rotary Foundation Grant of $56,000.

  • Sur Dhank Dhun organizes OP Nayyar Night for Edu-GIRLS.

  • Khetarpal organizes Inaugural Golf Tournament at P B Dye raising $ 10,900.

  • Kibes organize first Cherry Blossom Walk for Edu-GIRLS.

2017: (Bar Chart of Board Exams)

  • Revenues cross $100,000.

  • Board Exam pass Rate reaches 100%

  • Sangeeta produces first video for Edu-GIRLS.

2018: (Walk-a-thon Pic)

  • First Walk-a-thon organized with 50 walkers raising $ 9,000

  • Edu-GIRLS gets a Dining for Women grant of $37,500 for digital learning at VGS.

  • Of the original 23 VGS girls enrolled in 2004, 11 are traced: 9 go to college, one gets a job and only 1 gets married.

  • Edu-GIRLS gets accredited to the World Bank Community Connection Campaign.

  • Cumulative Fund Raising Crosses $ 1 Million.

  • Edu-GIRLS launches Results Based based grants.

2020: (Covid Action Agenda Logo)

  • Pandemic Hits. Edu-GIRLS launches it COVID Action Agenda at a cost of $100,000.

  • Annual Fundraising reaches $500,000, despite Gala, Walk-a-thon and Takoma Yard sales going virtual.

  • Georgetown organizes Rangeela for Edu-GIRLS raising $20,000.   

2021 : (Out-performing Board Chart)

  • Dau Dayal Inter College for Girls accredited for primary school.

  • VGS Girls outperform the school Board.

  • Reach for the Stars engineering scholarships launched with 34 girls.

2022 : (New Campus images)

  • First Inter-school ASSET learning competition organized.

  • Early Childhood Development launched at VGS.

  • VGS and SRGVVK both outperform School Boards.

  • Dr Mohan launches new campus construction campaign for Vimukti to raise $650,000.

  • Peer to Peer Learning launched at First Inter-School Forum.

  • Enrollment Crosses 2000.

  • MJM starts New Girls School in English medium.

  • West Coast Chapter is launched.

  • SRGVVK sees first two girls in jobs.

  • Vandana becomes first CEO.

  • FLDBS School in Kolkata added to the portfolio

  • Karnataka Government Schools E- Shakthi program launched with Rotary Bangalore.

  • Dau Dayal sets up separate Girls English Medium School & launches Yoga Without Borders.

  • Charity Navigator awards Four Star Rating.

  • 18 Engineers graduate into jobs through RfTS.

  • Vimukti establishes Alumni Association.

  • Edu-Girls India Foundation Launched with Deepti Naval, Pallavi Joshi and Tripathis as 2026 Brand Ambassadors.

  • Three Schools reach national parity with private schools on ASSET.

  • Vandana becomes Chairperson.

  • DD organizes Rikshaw Run to raise $50,000 for school building.
