We are thrilled to announce the launch of the West Coast Chapter of Edu-GIRLS, expanding our mission to empower girls living in poverty to achieve financial freedom through education and leadership development! This new chapter marks a significant milestone in our journey to provide opportunities for young women to thrive, regardless of their backgrounds or circumstances.

Why the West Coast?

The West Coast, known for its progressive values and commitment to social issues, is an ideal location for our new chapter. With vibrant communities, innovative educational institutions, and a strong network of supporters, we believe the West Coast Chapter will thrive and make a substantial impact. This expansion will allow us to engage with a diverse group of advocates, donors, and volunteers who share our vision of empowering girls through education.

Tina Bhatnagar

With her 20+ years of experience in technology, operations & leadership at Salesforce, Twitter and Coinbase, Tina brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our organization. She is excited to roll up her sleeves and begin the important work of empowering girls living in poverty to reach their full potential.

Sonia Wadhawan

Board Member, West Coast Chapter

Sonia joins us with 20+ years of experience in leadership roles at Google, as a board member of the Consumer Technology Association and a board member of Presidio Knolls School in San Francisco. She started her volunteer work many years ago helping women living in poverty find micro-loans to start their own businesses. She is excited to continue that work with Edu-GIRLS and help underprivileged girls find financial freedom through education.
