Saraswati School and Aeon School in Nepal are part of the Little Sisters network supporting 2,000 girls at over 100 schools, to achieve financial independence. It offers scholarships to girls from KG through High School, and then supports them with a blend of loans and grants for college or vocational training. Saraswati School, a non-government co-ed school with room to grow, and with Edu-GIRLS support has added a science lab in 2019. 

 

THREE GIRLS WHO WANT TO FLY

Yunika currently studies in Grade 6. Both her parents work as farmers. She has aspirations of becoming a Veterinary Doctor.

Sushmita Singh Thakuri is in Grade 11.  Her father and brother are both involved in carpentry. Her mother is a housewife. She wants to do Bachelor Degree in Agriculture.  

Garishma is in Grade 9. She secured Third Position in Basic Level Examination (BLE) of Grade 8 Test with 3.6 GPA. She aspires to become a Pharmacist.
